Caretis is a bio-venture company aiming at creating a new business to perform
“preventive medicine” by fusing a “diagnosis/inspection products” and
“drug discovery” functionally.
Our interesting targets are hypoxia （stroke and cancer) and allergic diseases.

1. Innovative diagnosis technology
We have technology (high sensitivity antigen detection technology: Immuno-PCR)
to detect an antigen(biomarker) using an antibody. This technology has
1,000 times higher sensitivity than a general-purpose method. This kit(the
brand name is “imTag PCR”) is also commercialized. We are developing
the most suitable device and products in order to utilize these technologies
in bedsides and clinical inspection rooms. In addition, we identify a marker
of a cerebrovascular disease (stroke) and the protein which is specific
for cancer metastasis and angiogenesis.

2. Drug discovery seeds
We develop candidates of drug for ischemia-related diseases. One of these
candidates is the material which is effective for a cerebrovascular accident
and myocardial infarction (by animal experiment) caused by an ischemia.
And we also have anti-allergic compounds library and high through-put screening
systems.

3. Other products
We produce and sell the inspection kits(a kit measuring pollen, mold/bacteria,
quantity of allergen of a mite: the first two kits are original worldwide)
which inspect indoor environment for quantity of allergens. We regard them
as promotion items in each fields, we are planning the expansion of distribution
channel and usage. |
